A professional with 25 years of fishing experience

Hello! I’m Su-chan, the representative of ATSUKU.

My journey with fishing began when I was five years old. My father took me, and we started with simple horse mackerel fishing from a breakwater. I believe the first fish I caught was quite small, but for some reason, I vividly remember the feeling and scent of that moment. From then on, I was completely hooked, and I’ve caught countless fish over the years.

Now, did you know that Japan is actually one of the world’s leading fishing nations? Being an island country, various ocean currents flow nearby, leading to an abundant diversity of fish species. Furthermore, unique methods for catching and preparing fish have been established here since ancient times.

I strongly believe that this unique aspect of Japan can be thoroughly enjoyed by our international guests as part of their tourism and activity experiences. We are confident that the entire experience we offer, from boat fishing to dining on your freshly caught fish, will leave you feeling absolutely thrilled and thinking, “I’m so glad I did this!”

• 2018: Joined a major infrastructure company, engaged in legal, financial, and fundraising operations.
• 2020: Joined a major consulting firm, engaged in consulting for tourism and environmental energy projects, promoting regional tourism and developing energy businesses.
• 2024: Founded ATSUKU.
